Hey Guys,

So I'm a bit sad that the other groups are already filled, aren't you? So I have taken it upon myself to create a new study group called TEAM ACE!!!!! TEAM ACE will consist of serious players who will commit to each other time and energy every week to improve their game and to move up in stakes. This is not a group for people who play 5-10 hours a month, it is much more for people who are committed to make $$$ and make poker either a sub income or sole income in their life.

I will personally select the members (around 6-8 total members) and will coordinate study session times and study topics (with input from members, obvs). We should have 1 session during the week and 1-2 sessions during the weekend. Each session will last around 2 hours. There will be some homework related to this group, ie watch a video, gather up some interesting hands, etc. Nothing too difficult though.

Requirements:
1. Skype - with a mic.
2. Teamviewer or Mikogo - Will decide which one we are using at a later time
3. Have played a minimum of 20k hands at 50NL or 100NL - if you are close to this mark, still pm me and I'll make a judgment call.
4. Have a good attitude and a drive towards bettering oneself and others

Why I am doing this and why I am qualified:

-All the other groups seem full, so I have decided to take initiative and make TEAM ACE. If you want something done right, hire someone intelligent to do it (I'm the intelligent one, at least that's what they told me after I shelled out 200K for college. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University if anyone cares)

-I have played over 100k hands of 50NL at a winrate of 3.82 PTBBs/100, so I have a decent grasp of how to improve and adjust and profit.

-I taught a class at CMU during the spring of 2009 during my last semester of my Undergrad where we talked about some indepth concepts (about 1/2 the class didn't get it, but they still enjoyed it).

My Background:

I am currently getting an MBA from a school in Missouri after graduating from CMU in May '09. Am currently a Graduate Assistant for the Football Team at my Grad school. Been playing poker for 7 years. Originally from Cali then moved to Pittsburgh and am now in Missouri so am not concerned about moving around for what is best for me.

Send me a PM with your poker and life information on it so I can do some evaluating. Be specific with the details about the poker stuff (ie what style you play, what degree of commitment you have, on average how many hands a month you play?, etc)

This is just what I have been looking for. I used to play 100NL FR, then switched to 50NL 6max and just moved up to 100NL 6max. I also play some 50NL rush. I am willing to put in the time and contribute to the group in any way I can. I am also starting coaching this week and am more serious than ever about taking my game to the next level.
