I would just lead this board. Its relatively dry and you have the K as a blocker. Also you have 1 back door flush draw. So really on this flop top and middle sets are pretty much discounted and a set of 7's is really all you have to worry about, bottom set generally will not go crazy on this board. So just lead out for pot and evaluate further action.

I was torn between leading and going for the checkraise on the flop. I opted to go for the slightly riskier check raise. I figured that if button bet and half stack in SB came along I could get in ahead of button and I have no problem going w/ this hand against the SB and his half stack. Also thought that I could freeze MP out of the pot w/ a naked straight draw this way. The only hands I were really concerned about were 777 and a wrap of some type. Did take into account my K as a partial blocker on the wrap.
Was just curious if I was on the right track or a donkey.

Neither leading nor checkraising is a bad option, but in a 4-way pot you're probably better off leading to get value and protect your hand. A continuation bet is less likely to come unless he's hit the flop, since there are 3 other dudes and this is a rather actiony flop.
