Villan was 34/28, seemed like an ok reg no reads of interest. Not sure what stats would be relevant. Only started playing PLO recently, only have a few thousand hands. Obviously I have the nuts so potting it doesnt seem right here?

i don´t know what he might be calling you with on the turn. maybe top set, maybe he thinks you are bluffing and and he calls with 2pair and maybe he´s got a wheel draw accompanying those, which he should fold none the less. i´d bet on the smaller side here, maybe 4$, maybe even less.

In PLO the Edge of being the PF aggressor is for sure lower than in NLH... that doesn't mean there's no Edge
On that Flop you have TPTK + GS + BDFD...
Considering that I doubt it's a Flop that hits hard a 34/28, I'd Pot for Value 100% of the times since there are a Lot of Turns that you can 2nd barrel smiling.
As Played, I think a standard Half Pot could be looked up fairly often by Set and 2P hands.
To Pot River I think you'd need to evaluate the flow of the game and your perceived Image... usually you'd be called only for a Split.

not sure being new to PLO the most confusing street is the flop!
sure. well since we've recommended that you bet the flop, I'd love it if you could take a shot at explaining why we feel that way.

2 mains reasons, we have a made hand (possibly the best hand) and alot of the deck improves it on the turn, eg any broadway, any spade. (so we already have alot of equity)
Other reason is that we should bet this type of flop when we miss to try take the pot down.

sounds pretty good to me.
