I dont think theres that much difference from turn club or river club.

Both these lines you represent flushes.
FWIW villain nearly always has 2pair in this spot (if he is reggy) and not that many flush draws so a club is good for you.

Question is is whether barreling turn is good.
Looking at it I dont think so. You dont get many folds on a lot of river, and you dont get many folds on the turn either.

EDIT: my PLO game isnt that strong, so I could be persuaded that turn he has lots of hands he is folding, but in my head I cant really think of many.

im assuming it was with the intention of bluffing clubs, which is fine if you think you can get away with it imo. if your betting turn and not bluffing i think its a bad overall line. checking is fine too.

This kinda bad too because not many flush cards on river for us.

I would X/F turn and, if the club hits, fire the river. The problem I have with this hand is that the way you played it, IMO, is not the way you play it if you had the nut FD. If you have just the naked nut FD or pretty much anything less than a straight and the nut FD, you'd check the turn (or at least I would). To me you're repping the straight more than anything.

I also agree with nowhereman that he is not folding the river with anything that he's called down like this with. So, overall I'd bet flop a bit smaller (big bet is not needed IMO since if you didn't nail the flop you're probably giving up). Also, if you do bet and get called, I'd check the turn because he'll basically tell you what he has. If he has a strong made hand he's forced to bet to protect, if he has the club draw he'll most likely check. If he did check the turn and the club hits I would probably X/F just because he's already been drawing to a non-nut FD which means he has no intention of folding it. Also, if you were going to bluff the river after checking the turn I think it would have to be with a X/R because he will most likely call with any flush. That, however, is VERY high variance at micros/low stakes and IMO is best for high stakes where you want to be balanced and where history between players is much more important.
