I was being perceived as a 26/20 player

BTN plays 40/27 in 153 hands. He is 3betting actively on the button (4 out of 15 times) and was playing actively preflop across 3 tables he was playing at.

SB seems like an OK PLO player like 22/14 in 143 hands. Selectively aggressive as well. That said I think he picks up that BTN 3bets a lot

The dilemma here is if SB is really going to 4bet light KK**/alss or AKK*/alss or rundowns so it makes my hand better to continue so I can call and see a flop.

Or do we just fold here?

A 22/14 is not 4-betting a range you wanna put more money in against here. Even if he is widening his hands to take advantage of a perceived light 3-bettor (4/15, although apparently light, is a tiny sample so is far from conclusive), he won't be putting extra in w/ hands you do well vs. - his range will basically be AAxx, KKxx and the odd hand like AKQTds. All of these, or at best the vast majority, have you in pretty poor shape. For that reason, along with the fact that even light 3-bettors can have big hands and the tiny investment you've made so far, I would just pitch your hand into the muck, mildly frustrated you didn't get to see the flop but contented that you didn't get stubborn and throw a stack in as a sizable dog.

Agree with everyone above. Just have to curse the poker gods and drag that damn mouse to the fold button. Even if we did call we'd still be OOP to the button (assuming he calls with most of his range) also, if he 5Bets we're screwed.

with KQJTds I'm basically clicking the call button until I have all my chips in the middle. I'm not going to make the AI raise, but I'll certainly get AI if someone jams.
