Hey everyone. Villain has very positional stats, with a 40% BTN VPIP and 32% call range on the BTN. He's very sticky in pots but not overly aggro as in not auto betting when checked to against a missed Cbet. He's yet to fold to a Cbet in 6 chances on the flop and only folded 1 of 3 on the turn. He's 0 for 3 in betting against missed flop Cbets. Don't have a turn stat for missed Cbets against yet. I also don't perceive him as a very good hand reader and he obviously peels the flop here very wide (and my bet sizing is also too small).

What's your plan on the turn? If betting, what rivers are you 3 barreling, in particular what are you doing on non-pairing diamonds? At the time I thought my turn bet would probably get called again but if the board doesn't pair on the river, I could probably get him to fold most things with a river bet having repped the nut straight the entire way.

Merge $25.00 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 6 players

CO: $28.11
BTN: $44.23 - VPIP: 26, PFR: 16, 3B: 3, AF: 1.9, Hands: 171

1 fold, Hero raises to $0.85, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.85, 2 folds

I think I will bet the turn big here trying to make him fold a better made hand as often as possible , thus I bet on large side. Close to pot or maybe even pot, so we should almost never get raised there. This however means that I give up on the river often.

I think we get punished a lot by his QTxx if we bet the turn large, I many villains flatting that on the flop to wait for a save turn. I would prolly c/c depending on how large he bets.

The flop is interesting. We are doing a lot better than I thought against the nuts (47%) so if raises on the flop I think we are always facing QT but we can easily get in in. Maybe if he raises really small we can call to see a turn.

If villain is as passive as you infer (granted you don't know how he plays vs missed turn cbets) then we can check surely? He will likely let us realise our equity without charge more often than he should, so we can take advantage of this presumed tendency by checking. If he bets we call, and perhaps bluff river diamonds and a board pair.
