Is this just a fold? Anything else and I may as well get it in. Or do you just jam here?

Easy fold for me.

We are 43.8% vs top 15% and 35.7% vs aces (more likely).

Yeah you just gotta fold in these spots when someone very likely has AA

I think I have been overemphasizing the idea that equities run closer together and it is doing my head in when I am playing shortstackers. Are there any general tips you guys could give me on how to play against super shorties in this game - I see at lot of them at the micros. I am also realizing just how often the 3bet just is AAxx at these stakes.

As a general rule hands that have A or a pair in it have low equity vs. aces. With ace in your hand that's obviously bad because you basically only play with your 3 other cards vs aces then. With pair in your hand you less likely to hit two pair and straights, and you don't hit the set that often. QTJJ goes to this category. Double suited hands with 4 different cards run best vs aces.

See for example
QTsJJ vs AA** , 35.1%
remove the pair and make it double suited
QTsJ9d vs AA**, 41.3%

Make the aces dry enough, such as AAT3 rainbow and
6789 double suited is a favorite versus it, 50.26% only though,
while an extreme example that looks good AKKQ one suite is only 30.1%, having both the ace and a pair in it.

Obviously it gets more complicated the more often they have something else than aces in their range, Especially maniacs can 3-bet any sort of crap and your hands go up in value considerably.

Just put different hands versus each other in an equity calculator and try to calculate what sort of equity you need in HU or 3-way all in pots. Good practice.

Thanks. I have been doing this quite a bit actually. Probably more than I ever did with HE in the early stages and I am starting to get a better picture of how hands match up. Obviously I have to do a ton more. I keep EV++ the Slice equity calculator running while I watch vids. It is a great tool and does Omaha as well as many other games as well. Really glad I bought it now. Whenever a HH comes up I try to run it and run through a variety of equity simulations with substitutions for different rundowns, pairs etc. I appreciate the input. I really want to learn this game.
