When would be a good time to start thinking about learning/playing PLO? I suspect there is insane rake involved so it's prolly not worth starting at $5 or $10 buyins, perhaps even $25?

I was just about to ask the same question. I started playing zoom plo 10 went really well and have started playing plo25 but am wondering if they are beatable long term because I remember hearing i think in the LARP series that rake is actually pretty hard to beat.

Also starting out please recommend series so far i've just been playing on what I can remember from a few random vids here ad there
