I'd check and realize our equity in position. It also keeps the pot a bit smaller when we hit and are against the nut flush draw.

Also, we could be up against a set that waited to see a safe turn to get the money in. That's worst case scenario, but even against A*** and the nut flush draw we're not doing that well.

With this much money in the pot we should just get it in to protect versus things with some equity, like one pair hands, straight draws.

Yeah, definitely pot. By applying maximum pressure we can fold out lots of hands that have good equity against us and even some two pairs, especiallly if he's taggish and capable of folding.

I guess I would checkback on the flop, is that bad?
