villan is 26/4 over 30 hands, folded to 2 out of 3 cbet before this hands....it's not worth much i know Smile
do you like preflop? both blinds are station fish. The cbet is awful in my opinion but my doubt is on the turn, i think villan always ships the flopped straight on the flop, sets too and probably 98,95, any NFD with some other piece or combodraws most of the time altough i might be wrong one specially, soooo even though we have no equity and no blockers, given the action and the reads we have of this spot, what do you think about betting here like $13 and shipping blank rivers?
I see some FE on the turn but not much, mostly stuff like 8x+overs+hearts or 85+hearts, etc, but i think we get called a lot by hands like QT9,QJT,T97,T87, and maybe some pair+flush that didn't c/r flop and most of those hands fold in pretty much every river

Preflop our hand strength is so good that 3 betting is almost never going to awful but given the description of the blinds and the raiser I like a flat more. When we hit good flops our hand is so nutty that playing multiway doesn't hurt us and I think we extract more value by allowing the loose stationy players in the pot rather than playing heads up with someone that looks tight passive, or just taking down his open raise.

When this flop comes, my plan is usually that I'm only putting in one bet at most somewhere in the hand. Even though it's limited information, there's a reasonable chance he'll play somewhat straight forward on turns if we check so I would check back and see what happens on the turn, putting in my bet there if he checks which hopefully induces a fold or gets us to showdown.

As played, I'm giving up on the turn. We have no blockers or any other information to give us reason to think we can get a fold, the SPR is just over 1 so we can't even barrel two streets, and the times he doesn't fold our equity is awful.

the SPR is just over 1 l.

yeah,it's probably a little too ambitious with this SPR.
The fact that we don't have blockers shouldn't be an issue if i'm correct on him c/raising strong FD most of the time on the flop but i could definitely be wrong about that, the fact we have no equity is certainly an issue because it puts more pressure on the other assumpions to be correct...

Agree with Dutch on pre and post. Make the flop 6 Heart 5 Club 9 Club instead of 8 Heart 5 Club 9 Club and I would like a flop stab way better.

With 589 there are just so many more straight draw hands he could have, especially a tight range who will have JT** type stuff in there a ton. There are far fewer straight draws on 659 and we also hold a straight blocker, cutting down even more on the hands he can continue with.
