What do you think of his play here with aces? When we donk out on this board seems it really hits our range pretty hard.
Glad to see you making a nice comeback, great series, and even better explanations. Keep up the superior work!
Well, we do probably connect well with it, but like I said we are quite unlikely to have a made straight if we just jam out into him on a dry board. I think he should still fold because the SPR is not good and he needs more equity (>40%) which he may or may not have. Change the texture a bit, say make it 873r, and he'll probably be more correct in stacking off against a donkbet.
Now to consider our decision to donk here: I like it most against guys who are a bit more passive with their cbet % and also hate to fold overpairs in 3bet pots. I do not like it against guys who are aggressive cbetters but don't stack off light.

Since your on Merge, what about a episode of NL Omaha ?
The differences, and how you would play certain hands.
Ooh, didn't even realize that was an option...
Well, off the top of my head, I wouldn't actually change much. I'd probably be 3betting bigger than pot OOP. I'd look for spots where overbetting would do good things for us, namely when we would rather our opponent fold his hand with decent equity than peel again. The obvious thing would be to jam AA preflop so you don't have to worry about playing it postflop, but I wonder if that would be more profitable overall. Between the fact that you're still profiting nicely from it with pot-sized reraises and the loss of balance that you'd have in your range, it might not be a great idea. Now, really crappy AA I'd be more likely to do that with because they're still an equity favorite but more unplayable.
