Poker Stars $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 5 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BB: $263.10
UTG: $200.00
CO: $200.00
BTN: $240.00
Hero (SB): $387.40

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is SB with 8 Diamond Q Spade Q Heart 8 Heart
1 fold, CO raises to $6, 1 fold, Hero raises to $20, 1 fold, CO raises to $62, Hero calls $42

Flop: ($126.00) Q Club 6 Heart A Diamond (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $41

Opponent is 25/18, his 4-bet-range is exactly 2.5% after 34k hands.
We have been active at the table so far, did some 3-betting, but nothing insane and had no contact with villain yet.

We call the 4-bet for implied odds, to stack his known AA, right? (I'm not even sure we have the odds, but that's a different story.)
So consequentially we have to lay it down now, wrong?

This is pretty close, I think QQ77ss and under is a fold pre (we have 32% against AA**) and QQ99ss is a call with 36% given that we never "folding the best hand" post-flop given that his range is pretty much AA**, I feel like we can play perfectly and stack off with a gutshot or better. QQ88 is breakeven at best probably given rake.

The only thing I might be concerned about is him having some hands you crush in his 4-bet range but 34k hands is a pretty solid sample and 2.5% is exactly AA**.

FWIW I fold this flop given the sample size of your stats. If his stats are any looser you just have to go with it IMO

I'm not folding pre. Postflop feels dirty but still a pretty standard fold given the action and player description imo

are you 3 betting a lot and are they likely to 4b light? pre flop they obviously have AA a lot but when the A comes on the flop they obviously have it a lot less and are going with it probably with any Ace.

If you have a 34k hand sample I would think you would have a good enough feel for this villians game to know what to do

Yeah, definitely good points. If you think he is going to 4b KKxx for example then folding this is pretty bad but you mentioned that he had exactly 2.5% 4b.. Although as esporro mentioned if you have aggro image then he's probably 4bing most KKxx combos, in which case folding would be bad.

Overall depends on game flow/image etc. A lot, but I'd also expect to run into AAxx here quite often. Just think people have a high propensity to call
With their smoother hands and only 4b AAxx and their better KKxx hands thoigj

I don't have much of an idea of his game - I did not play him for 34k hands - you can buy HHs these days Wink

As I said, I was active 3-betting, but not insanely. I guess multitabling regs look more at your overall stats (which will show like 7% 3betting in my case). Also this was the first time I 3-bet him personally this session.

I did not find a fold at the table and I try not being results oriented, but I think given his 2.5% 4bet-range and no reason to believe he is adjusting yet, it's just a pretty clear fold.

Also he is in position. How often do you guys 4-bet given 100BB stack-size with a smooth hand ipo? I can't remember a single time I did it. As KasinoKrime stated, that leaves him with AA and maybe some top KK.
