Wow you ran pretty horribly this episode. I love the commentary though, can't wait for next week.

also, when you jammed the turn with bare aces, and the flush draw against that "fish". what were you thinking? he hadnt shown the propensity to do anything on the turn but bet pot with a made hand, and you decided to shove it in? what were you hoping to get called by? your play makes no sense. i stopped watching this video after that hand because you played horribly.

Don't get me wrong - we were a significant favorite with the KK and the nut flush draw against his hand, and it'd be great to get the money in that good everytime you put your stack in. I just wouldn't say we had him in terrible shape.

while i disagree with the former comment, i definitely agree with the latter. when you get called there you will lose to aq.

What's with all the haters in so many video threads lately. First it was the Whitelime vids, now it's here. I'm starting to dread scrolling down on the video pages :S

Constructive criticism or discussing a hand is fine. Saying people are horrible at the game they are teaching is not only ridiculous it's also just plain dumb. You really think rbk got to crushing High Stakes PLO by being lucky? Please.

Anyway, RBK, just know that for every hater there's probably a 100 satisfied customers who look forward to your video every week. Don't let the few loud ones get you down. This series is my favourite of all the PLO vids on the site. Money very well spent.

DJ Sensei becoming a PLO player better not mean we don't get any more DJ Sensei Freestylin' NLHE vids though! Wink

Let us know what you guys are looking for and how they can improve. There's no doubt that rbk is a winner and an insanely difficult opponent in the mid and high stakes PLO games -- at the same time, he plays a style that is unorthodox and, for most of you, insanely laggy. There's no doubt that a lot of the things he's going to do are going to be things that y'all are going to find objectionable. There's also no doubt in my mind that in any video we've done, there are going to be mistakes. If we only played perfectly it would destroy the opportunity for there to be any discussion, interaction, and any genuine opportunity for you to learn.

If there are hands you feel like you'd like to critique, post them and the timestamp -- just like you would in any other thread. This is going to be the best way for us to improve as instructors and for you to improve as players.

You guys aren't going to get as much out of DC by being passive observers as you would by challenging your instructors and challenging yourselves. Let's get some discussion started about hands played and some conversations about different styles in PLO and spots you think are played really horribly. It's hard for us to read this and make better videos based on the comments you've given so far because, to be honest, it really comes off like a bunch of sour grapes...you guys seem like you want to see one style and even make comments saying that rbk is a horrible player when it's pretty well established that isn't the case. PLO is one of the games out there right now where there are a lot of different styles and you are going to help us make better materials by posting specific objections rather than just general gripes.

So yeah. Post specific hands and timestamps so DJ and rbk can actually post back and comment about why they do what they do -- you might be surprised at what you learn in the interaction, which is the whole point of the way we operate.
