At 7:50 you say: "expect bigger swings and longer break even stretches than holdem" Aren't those two things mutually incompatible?

Or do you mean that compared to holdem where it is possible to be grinding a steady profit, you don't get that in holdem?

I don't see why those two points are mutually exclusive. It's because of the huge swings and close equities that long BE stretches happen.

what's different about it? all they did was add functionality for groupings and exclusions.

I mean the first time when you show the propokertools web page. On the righd hand side there is this syntax summary, which is actually very helpfull. It does not show it to me when i open it on my Computer..

This is what I mean.

n0whereman,
what a great series! i have a question though, i have only played NLHE SnGs. Maybe around 200 of them. 70% maybe on HU $2. I am planning on switching to PLO as I think the world of NLHE is just too crowded. Would my little experience on NLHE be a hindrance to learning PLO fully or are these two forms sort of independent? You talked about expanding a player's poker mind when playing different forms of poker but I don't have that much experience on NLHE.

thanks!

I have just started here and have started with this sereis as it was well recommended.
You talk about Omaha Manager and Aggression factor and how the Stat Aggression Frequency is better to use.

I have installed Omaha Manager and cannot not see this stat listed, or am I misssing a huge point.
Can you explain how I can access this stat if it is possible.

thanks

Can anyone comment on whether it's worth ditching Poker Tracker Omaha, which I have paid for, to get Omaha Manager? Is it that much better? PTO seems just fine at the moment.

If switching is a big investment for you, I wouldn't bother.
