I soul read that the guy had absolutely nothing. Definitely a questionable play but I honestly thought he would check to me and I could push him off his nothing hand. I had a bet sizing tell that if he had a hand like AAxx he would've bet $2. Once I hit the king+flush draw I had to go with it.

If he has nothing, doesn't any card between a 6 and a J, give or take, give him a better hand than you, so wouldn't raising be better?

Yes, you are correct. I should've just raised the flop. It was a questionable play made after drinking too much where I got lucky to spike a K. I just have never seen some fold for such a small raise, and thought it was pretty funny.

I was playing like a complete spewtard and I know it.
