I don't think limping is a bad play, but I like raising that more from the button.
Say your opponents play the top 1/3 of hands here, 3 ways you have 38% equity plus your position.
If you then limp and SB/BB play 100% of their hands your equity drops to 23%. Plus, you get to play this in position.

Limping allows you for a lot more of a chance of getting a decent amount of money in postflop when you overset one of the several remaining players, but raising eliminates a lot of potential hands. You have a small equity edge 3-ways but the hand plays a bit nicer preflop in a smaller pot IMO.

I don't disagree with that, but I think raising allows us to win the pot unimproved much more often.
I'd imagine that at these stakes (and many higher than this), we're very likely to have a big multiway pot that we won't be able to take down on the flop very often. With one limper I can see raising to isolate a high %, but here I just don't see us winning pf or on the flop terribly often. I'm not necessarily saying raising here is bad, but I think this particular line of thinking is off.

I'm coming from a full ring background of late, but I find players folding WAY too often. But, my thinking may be off because I'm playing full ring and they may be much weaker than the 6 max player.

Hey guys.
Thanks for all the replies. It's nice to be a part of a forum where people takes time to do some serious talk about a PLO20 hand
I take it limping would be the better option here, followed by a raise and with folding as the worst option or?
