You make really good vids. Could you make one of you 4-tabling 3/6-5/10 ? That would be really cool. thx for all the vids. Good plo vids are so hard to find.

These aren't PLO vids imo; they are poker videos.
While it wasn't me personally cooking the duck, I recently attended a dinner party where my friend made a deconstructed duck salad.
Warm Duck Salad
Ingredients (for 6):
6 individual duck breasts
4 Naval Oranges
½ cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbls brown sugar
16 oz marscapone
~10 oz baby arugula
2 tbls red wine vinegar
Salt, pepper, dried mint
Procedure:
In a medium saucepan add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar and simmer over medium high heat. Zest or cut strips of about 3g of orange peel and add to the vinegar. Juice two of the oranges and add to the vinegar. Reduce to a thick sludge, again it may take some aggressive heat to get there.
At least 1 hour before serving cut a ¼†deep criss cross pattern in the fatty skin side of each duck breast. Sprinkle the bare side with salt pepper and mint, and rub the same seasonings into the fat side and let rest until 15 minutes before serving. Heat large pan on high. Add the duck breast skin side down and let cook for about 6 minutes then turn over to skin side up and let cook for 4 more minutes. Remove from heat and let rest. Toss the arugula in red wine vinegar. Peel the remaining two oranges and cut into large chunks, about 3 pieces per slice of orange. Each plate should contain about 4 slices of orange, 2 oz marscapone, arugula. Last, cut the duck into ½†slices, and add to the plate. Add a drizzle of orange balsamic reduction on top of the duck, and elsewhere on the plate for prettiness.

He also previously made some duck proscuitto. But he ate it all before I had a chance to try some. Bastard.
not really happy with the bluff vs mreed. think if the river was something else it might be ok but the offsuit 5 is a really terrible card to continue on.
his line is fine btw.

i agree. my videos will make you a better poker player in general, and a smarter, better person. of course, you'll pick up the chops you need to autopilot through all the standard plo spots, almost by osmosis!!!, but ultimately i am trying to make your brain grow more powerful within both contexts. you also might learn how to cook a thing or two, have a sudden urge to pluck a genetically modified mongoose or become confident enough to dance the peruvian bossa nova naked under a full moon. i don't know. i just know you should tune in next week for pregaming with MagicNinja. I'm going to.

The post video duck and a tasty beverage. oh, we slathered it in marmalade. MARMALADE DUCK!
that duck salad looks fcking legit btw.
I'm playing m_reed and ibetufold at 1/2 today. Evidence to the claim that magicninja is infact a gypsy and curses his opponents in ritualistic ceremonies involving screen recordings and ducks.

MagicNinja: You are the first instructor that made me laugh (like actually laugh, not as in saying on a forum that you are laughing out loud when you really arent) since I saw the vid where Jay was discussing how you should be aware when playing since you could always be playng PA and furthermore how much edge could be gained by having a screen name made up out of symbols that no one else could type in on fulltilt ie. a infinity symbol.
As far as content goes, solid I guess? Try to have a few concepts on mind before recording and maybe that will help you get some more strat content out per vid. Not sure that is something you want to do tho?
Will you keep doing PLO vids or will u switch it up to NLHE after this (I hope not).
Thanks for providin, peace.
This series is just deliciously good. MagicNinja, is the secret to your success your fondness for bet sizes ending with 7?
Very solid series so far, MagicNinja. I think sticking with the 2-tables is perfect, easier to watch and follow especially considering we're using the hand replay a ton. Also, I should eat more duck.

nah the 7 thing isn't anything fancy, it's just that i need to make the extra $7 on the end of the bets to pay off the $1 vig each samurai charges me in each pot i take down. in return they do various things, but i can't talk about most of them here. they did carve the duck for free however (ok that's a lie, me and cowpig just went fantastic mr fox on that fcker and saved the money for more beer).
enjoy your videos very much, thank you
am not sure but i think that replaying a hand especially in stars replayer sucks, since you have hem running you can just open that thing in the middle of the table and talk through a hand there, which is kind of more lighter than a replayer window and you dont have to click it from the beginning.
