Why are we three-betting the field (including an UTG open) with kings from the blinds? I thought this was the ideal multiway hand that hits flops hard when it connects but we're giving up immediately so often.

Calling is okay, but that's the sort of hand you'd want to squeeze with too, right? You are happy if everyone folds, but if you get called in one spot, there are a lot of flops you can bet, either for value or as a bluff.
This squeeze failed pretty catastrophically, but you never know.

I accept this might be standard play and willing to hop on board the train, but I don't really understand why. It goes against everything I've been thinking in my very short PLO stint so far. We are squeezing an UTG open raiser and two callers. We're in pretty bad shape if the opener comes over the top. Don't we want something with a smoother distribution when we are called or get 4 bet? I can see this working a lot better against something like CO open and SB flat.

i think we can fold this hand to a 4bet, which is fine.. it help define everyones ranges better anyways if someone decides to repot us.
I feel like noone folds to a 3bet hu, but when its 4 ways and the 3bet is considerably larger you tend to get more folds from weaker hands.
@del - cant an UTG player have like any broadway PP here? like, we dont really beat that many of them, but we have a gut and bd draws.

I love double-suited Kings but I usually just flat here pre-flop with the 26 as sidecards from the BB. I'd consider 3betting to a late position opener.
As played I think I would fold as well. Really don't think the SB is calling here with a bare overpair like QQ with the UTG and us behind him, even if he thinks we're usually folding. It's not as if the CO is pure air here. The only hand the SB might have we're not in bad shape against is 678*, against which we're flipping.
Anyone consider c-betting on flop? Are we c-folding all paired boards (except 22x and 66x)? Are we c-folding Aces as well? What's the plan for the turn if it checks through and we don't improve?

Double suited Kings are very strong and I'd be 3-betting them preflop almost always in this spot. They actually play better in 3-bet pots than single raised pots b/c you can easily just get allin whenever you flop a flush draw. Additionally, they are awesome hot/cold too so you just get people to put in lots of money w/ weak hands. I play flop the same.
