Anyway, 15:50 in the video the villain donks out ($30 into $55) on the turn, Q85T board, after calling your raise on the flop (the T gives a flushdraw). If the turn had been a low card, a deuce or a three, is this a 'clear' call or still a fold? You're holdning 6865.
I agree with your points that donkbets are mostly weak and I see them often use as a semibluff, they hope to take down the pot, but if they gets called they got a strong enough hand to build a pot with.. If that makes sense.

I'm currently playing PLO without a tracker, but I'm probably going to buy PTO. My primary use of the software will be to keep track of my own hands and to find leaks in my own game. Do you think it's worth having the HUD also? Alot of people says that stats aren't as important in PLO as in NLH, and since I'm only playing 2-4 tables, there's a smaller risk of me autopiloting (.. I hope ).
If I decide to use the HUD, what stats are important in PLO, it doesn't feel like it's the same as in NLH.. Except VPIP, PRF and hands..

Sorry, but this was like watching paint dry, only good points in this one, was for note taking, but the playing itself was horrible... Coulnd't even force myself to watch it all the way through... Kind of a shame, as the intro was nice and promising.

Also, don't give teasers about judging people after their vpip and pfr, without actually being able to do so

It really helps to give constructive criticism in spots like these, just FWIW. Gergery's been a winning PLO player for a long time so it'd be nice to see what things you disagree with as far as how he plays and why.

I kinda have to agree with poster above. I watch almost exclusively PLO vids and this was kinda blank.
Lets see:
1) Analysis on stats is kind of useless in 30 hand sample. Its good as a concept, but in reality we all know what large VPIP and low aggr factor means. If you do in depth analysis on micro sample for educational reasons - do it on non-traditional numbers like what high WTS means in PLO? What kind of player has low W$WSF? What W$SD averages for good player, what other stats are important for plo.
2) Note taking again... good as a concept but in this case way overextensive given small hand sample. In real world you cant make that much notes in 30 hands (obv you can but they will be inaccurate and hence useless if not misleading). Also some notes contrindicated and canceled each other.
3)The play itself was kinda depressing. I dont know how to tell it better but it was uneventful. Few interesting spots wasnt analyzed well enough while electing to just fold.

I have no doubts about Gergery being winning player and i hope next vids will show us why, but for this episode content-wise i must say it didnt meet high DC standards.

As a PLo player and thinker of the game, I have to step up and defend Greg here. First of all, his play was outstanding in terms of a low variance grind style that is so profitable at the low and even mid stakes. I can understand the negativity because after all, watching someone grind can be very boring.

The question you people have to ask yourself is this, Do you want to learn a clean solid style that is a money maker? Or do you want to watch crazy cats shipping stacks left and right?

It's great to see Gergery back, but this video was a bit of a slide in terms of quality. Greg is the best Omaha communicator on this site with regards to his decision-making process, and therefore it's important that his videos place him in as many problem spots as possible. For the predated disappointed posters, I would encourage you to see some of his other videos, all of which are better than this mediocrity.

Sorry Greg, you were too much of a nit. I would encourage you to make some future videos with Joe Tall (we can only hope), Vanessa, or Parlay Slow riding shotgun. Watching you play like a nit really isn't much fun, although you were running badly. I'd also also enjoy a series on PLO8 of which there is exactly ONE video on this site (yours, natch). Anyway, the community is glad to have you back, but you're going to be taking a hit on this one.

The Profiling Part of the Video was good but you should choose a strong player to make notes of in my opinion and not a Loose passive Fish. Your playstyle was really nity, but i think its the best style, when you play against loose passive callingstations. So my suggestion is that you should profile a good Tag/Lag next time and try to exploit his Leaks, because i think that is more interesting than profiling a player whos Game is full of Leaks like Tiltopapa.

At 36 min you openfold QT97 suited to the queen on the cutoff.

WTF!?!? You don't need to play like vanessa but that's just plain ridiculous, it's like folding AT/AJ on the cutoff in hold'em imo which is just absurd... I really hope that was a brainfart
