CO is 54/7 after 394 hands. loose passive guy. I didnt think he would have aces here when he just flatted my 3bet preflop, i pretty much put him on a flushdraw or 9 with kickers or maybe QQxx that he peels once. Is my potbet awful on turn here? And what can i do different? Or is my play fine?

I'd play it the same. Turn is an easy shove with a PSB left. There enough draws that we need to protect and a 4 is highly unlikely. Only thing I would do differently is bet a bit bigger on the flop for value, especially being OOP. It also would give us a full PSB left on the turn to shovel it all in at once.

I guess we're bet calling this flop event though he's passive? We have 40% vs pair+flush draw as made hands are unlikely
If the board was 976hh/985hh vs this type of player you prefer chek/raise bet/fold or bet/call? I think you can add some made hands and super combo draws in his range but he s very passive so i'd lean towards bet/folding

hero can't fold here on the turn as he has just 3$ behind. i think you played it fine, i would just bet bigger on the flop and jam turn, like teahupoo said. you get max value from his 9xxx, fds and overpairs which i don't think he folds
