I don't 3b that much so I assume his range is only all AA**. JJ78ds vs AA** has 40% equity.
Obviously on the flop i have no choice but to go all in, the question is wether to donkbet ? I dont think it makes much difference db vs x/c.
The thing that bothers me more, is how would you play preflop after getting cold 4bet? Considering im OOP i would fold like JJ67 single suited, but how about hand as strng as JJ78ds?

I think I'd only 3bet these oop against weakish players whom are CO or BTN. I generally dont like 3betting somewhat ok paired hands oop because I want to bloat the pot only with big hands, either nutty or very playable (or both). Against UTG+1 I think the only time I would 3bet this, is when I'd be against really really weak player postflop with large range from this position.

Curious to know whether this is a call for the 4bet after we 3 bet. I was of the thinking that you always call a 4 bet after you 3bet as long as you don't have an ace in your hand. is this thinking correct or should we also fold paired and rainbow hands to 4 bets after 3 betting.

We dont have that much rainbow hands because we did 3bet preflop. Paired hmm... I would always call if my sidecards work for my advantage, example hand like JJT9ss or similar.

@shuttle
By definition you will not be 3betting this hand vs straight forward opponent, will you? You would rather play postflop most likely 3way without position and lead ? What kind of hand would you like to hit with SPR as big as when you call pre? Getting value out of your hopefully topset will be tough cause you're OOP, your J high flushes arent the nuts either.

I'd need to know that my opponent folds pre/post too much to want to 3bet a hand like this.

I would just coldcall this in the SB and hope it goes 3-way.

Yeah I figured Wink

One more thing..

It really depends on the hand. Doubled suited connected pairs are good, for example QQJT ds is reasonably EV+, KK72 even double suited would be EV-.

JJT9ds is EV+ in this spot for sure, I would say JJ87ds is probably slightly winning too.

I agree with shuttle in not 3betting this hand without knowing opponent can fold pre or post too much. Regarding calling a 4bet, I would definitely fold rainbow hands (usually not 3betting them anyway) and single paired hands are usually a fold as well. JJT9ds and QQJTds might be close if our implied odds are better postflop, but I would definitely fold JJ87ds if we're headed towards a SPR 1 situation.
