Should i squeeze preflop? I think that would be an interesting idea. I think I played the hand on the flop / turn too passive. How would you play in such situations? Flop / Turn raise? What do you think of the river bet? I think that is unnecessary.

I'd just fold preflop. SCs don't have the implied odds to call vs a couple of tight ranges. They also don't have much steal equity post-flop, so they don't have much of a way to make money by flatting pre. Furthermore, you shouldn't be 3-betting that much here, so you can do much better than 86s.

Squeezing the flop is a nice option, though.

Calling turn is your only option. MP2s range is very strong.

Betting the river is not going to work out too well. His range is strong so he won't fold often. The only thing that considers folding is KQ, QJ, QT... but there's a pretty good chance he calls and he may check some of those on the turn. He could definitely have QQ (might have 3b pre, sure) 77 (3), 22 (3), AQ(9) as his other combos. That's not a lot of folding

This is also a pretty marginal turn call.
We get around 2,4:1 so we need 29,4% equity.

Board: Qh 7h 2d 4d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 25.253% 25.25% 00.00% 300 0.00 { 8h6h }
Hand 1: 74.747% 74.75% 00.00% 888 0.00 { QQ, 77, 22, AQs, KQs, QJs, KQo }

I think that's even a pretty wide range for him to bet on the turn. I don't think many players on 50NL will bet the turn with QJ 3way and many will also check KQ.

So we don't get the direct pot odds for a +EV call, which means that we rely on implied odds.
And we can't forget our reversed implied odds if there is the 2h or 4h on the river.
If villain has some flushdraws like A2hh or A4hh in his range we also get into terrible spots on the river.

I think we can call here, cause he won't just c/fold his set on the river if the flush hits (although he is probably going to fold any TP hand), but I don't hate a fold.
