Hi everyone,
I wanted some thoughts on a spot I found myself into earlier today. Some context first.
I have moved to this table around an hour or so. Although I stole a few pots with position I have only shown AA twice. So I have a pretty tight/solid image. Villain didn't seem to be too active but was not impressed by his play based on a couple of hands.
The first hand he called off his shortish stack ~$70 on a monotone diamond flop where his opponent told him that he was weak and the he just had bottom pair with a naked FD, to which villain obliged and found out he was lied to as his opponent tabled a flopped flush.
The 2nd hand was just before the hand in question I will present in this thread. I don't remember the preflop and flop action well. All I remember is that he basically called (pretty quickly) a substantial flop bet in a 3 way pot with Q high hodling QTo. However he tanked called off his remaining $50 stack on the turn being last to act in a $350 pot when the turn 9 actually gave him an OESD on 47J9cc board. He binked the river and scooped a ~$400 pot.
The hand in question:
Villain is in EP and one of 5 limpers. I am in the BB with KsKd and $325 stack, I make it $20. I get 2 callers making the pot $70
Flop ($70) : 5
6
8
I bet $55, villain raise to $110 ...
