Villain (UTG) 18.82 stack raises 45, Hero calls. BB calls. Now before you tell me to three bet my read on this villain is he is tight. The player in the blind not so much. Pot is 135.

Flop A K 9

Hero bets 67c, BB folds, Villain raised 3.36, Hero re raised 6.05, Villain shoves 14.81, Hero calls 12.12.

Turn & River T 9 2 players all in.

Question is should I be getting this all in otf vs. a tight players UTG open. Is this standard get it in?

Poker stove says I am ahead of his 2.9% opening range otf. But once he 3bets flop I have to make another range adjustment? I don't want him to draw and I don't want him to push me off a chop. And I have blockers. Any thoughts? Couldn't tell if I should be proud of my self for getting it in here and not being results oriented or if I am just freaking stupid. Thanks. P.S. Villain had KK!

very std get it. i would however be c/r'ing this flop. it's 10nl. he's not folding Ax. I wouldn't ever fold here so don't be results oriented. what do you think he does w/ AQ if you lead, given there is a fd on the board?

You either chopping here or behind to a set when villain 4bets you. He does not have any draws here, he is tight, so most likely UTG opening range is something like (66+,AJs+,KQs,AQo+) maybe this even too wide for him, so his most likely holdings are TPGK, Top 2pair or a set and close to "no" draws.

im not sure how lots of people keep saying "its 10NL,no ones folding....get it in".thats just simply not true alot of the time.im a regular 10NL player and very capable of folding tpgk is certain spots.as are a good amount of other regs on merge.Granted there are a ton of fish at these stakes but also some pretty competent players as well.

yeah I have been on the table with you, but we havent tangled yet I play as snapcall109 and by no means am I crushing 10 NL on there hence the 30 spot per month to the duecescracked boys.

i really just started taking online as serious as possible.play on average 1-2 hrs a day or 1000 hands,whichever comes first.not too many losing sessions.avg about a $20 plus each session.i play alot early morning as well.competition seems pretty weak at those times.btw youre up $2.60 on me.

As for the hand, I lose in this same type of spot quite often. Seems like 2 pair is just no good when tight nits are raising. I'd have lost as much as you but my line would have been call his c/r on flop. C/C turn and river.

I actually like your line better but when he shoves for 80+ additional BB's I think you can fold and this is why I like your line better. You actually play in a way where you find out where your at rather than my check call down line. Think I might have to pop the guy next time but this only really works when deep stacked.
