Also, vilain seems to have a low agression frequency, so when I see him c/raise the turn, I am tempted to give him a lot of credit.

Altough, when you have top 2 here, he represents very thin. Considering vilain's low aggression frequency, I feel you are less likely to get value from draws in this spot when you shove (he is not that aggressive / bluff happy).

I feel the best line to take would be to call turn and call most non rivers to keep is his wors hands in the mix.

Thanks! I was masstabling and later when i reviewed the hand i came to pretty much the same conclusion that it's more likely better to just call and then see what happens on the river for the reasons you mentioned.
