Hi!
I am trying to learn how to play ABC poker the way DJsensei talks about in "to nit or not to nit". And then I hope I can develop my game from there. I have a question though. He encourages limping small pair and suited connectors, but when I read forums most people say "never limp". And I can understand why, I hate when I limp from EP or MP and then someone raises in the end. Are pp and sc worth calling with? And one other thing, if I am facing observant players, I am basically telling them "I have small or mid pairs or sc now" when I open limp. Is this a leak? When I hit a set I often win a lot, but in the long run maybe it is not a good play.

And I also want to know how I should do in this situation which came from limping SC. I think I have 15 outs, which makes me want to call. But I am not sure what the villain have. Would calling be positive EV?

If you think the BB has a big hand like a slowplayed set you will have around 30% equity with your OESD and flush draw. The pot will be $2.25 after the BB shoves and you still need to put in $1.83. In this case you are not getting the right odds to chase your monster draw so the right move is to fold.

If the BB has a bigger flush draw or pair plus draw with something like KhQh you are even worse off with only around 13% equity.

Either way this is a fold.

That's quite an old series, the games have changed to such an extent that most players will attack your limps.

I'd highly recommend just nitting up totally from EP and drop <66 and all SC from your range until you gain more experience.
