Hey shuttle, thanks for the reply. There is no auto top off so he was topping off whenever he needed to. However he had just lost a hand and I guess he didn't get it in time. I agree with you alls suggestions that he is probably not a good tag, probably a weaker player. My normal 3 bet size is 3-4x but I have recently been playing around with smaller 3bets vs wider opening ranges. I figure if he is opening wide enough from the cutoff I can give myself a better price on my 3bet bluffs while keeping in some of his weaker hands that would not call a 110-120 3bet pre. I am trying to have some more fun trying some of my own ideas(probably a good idea to practice new strat at lower limits) but it keeps me more interested in the games.
3bet--- sorry about the confusion and b.s., I would rather just talk about the hands I ask about than get told how bad I am though, how can you help me get better when everytime I post a hand you never talk about the actual hand. I don't ever remember telling you that you should die though, maybe a little exageration there??

If someone is a good reg you really don't want to be varying your 3bet size here. I think it gives away too much info most likely and is super tough to balance. Also balance preflop is important at these stakes.
Before you play another hand of 1knl I'd suggest getting Tendler's book and reading all of it.

I'm not planning on going back to even 400nl. I belong at the 100nl range. I just got bored playing the same way over and over and over so I thought about making some of my own strategy up. It makes more sense to me now that the 3 betting is not a part of my game I need to fool with, stick with what works and look at other parts of my game that need work instead of trying to invent some b.s. lol. I need to learn more standard strat before doing that, thanks
I'll check out the book though, probably need to hit you up for some coaching too but I'll pm you for that

With regards to 3betting I'd just suggest that you pick one size and stick to it until you know exactly who and when to change it to exploit, especially at 1knl you'll want a really good reason to go to a non-standard size.
