*cries* man I didnt see the straight how bad was that... On the flop I put him on a underset or two pair because he showed real interest in my eyes but wasnt 100% sure yet, also wanted to keep the other player in.

Then the turn, well when I got action I just stuck with my "read" of big hand on the flop lol, not seeing the (open end) straight came in... I just had to laugh after this hand ... and smack myself hard

Even if you did see the straight you shouldn't be folding.

even if u are utg shouldnt u make atlesat 3x to get garbage to fold on blinds? then i dont know ur image and the table but i dont like to limp maybe if many ppl limped then i can limp with draw hand or low pair. but he might folded preflop.
and i would also call the turn.

thanks you brought that up jollewone, I vary my play alot between limpin and raising in early positions. But as I read your comment on that I thought about it some, and yea that was prolly a leak of me that you just dicovered. I play at ipoker where I usually sit around nits and play a wide open game, opening a hell lot from late position and usually takin it down... so why give them a free look when im utg. They so tight that usually my aces wont get raised if I limp utg, and sometimes when I have suited connectors or low pairs, someone in late position raises somewhat bigger so that I have to fold. Raising it up just every time in this kind of game just seems to be alot better, people would throw away their shit and i get to play the nits heads-up even more often with a juiced up pot. And gettin my aces 3 bet more often wouldnt hurt either i think hehe..

I will experiment with that and eliminate limping utg as much as possible..

thanks for bringing that up, as simple as it was =)

well i dont say its wrong to limp utg with either way aa or 78 suit u should vary ur game as u say.
thou when i c some tight player limp utg and i get the feeling they got aa i normaly just limp behind thou i do it rarely need some sort of draw hand
and many ppl seems to overplay their aa after they limp and dont understand that ppl can have whatever crapcards.

and now i dont say this guy wouldnt call ur 3x bet or how much u would bet.
and also stealing blinds is one of the most effective in my winnings
manage to steal 1 blind every 10 hand and win a small pot every 30 hand will make u win alot in the end.

im at like 70% attempt to steal Poke Tongue, but i think utg i need to raise more definatly, limpin on a tight table just doesnt work, thats better for looser/tougher tables I think.

Totally. He might have a smaller set - you can boat up by the river! Get it in!
