This was a live video?
I have one problem.
Don't you think its problematic you sweating and commenting whilst the hand is being played?
Not questioning your integrity but I don't think its fair.

Yes, its a live one. The important thing is that I'm not clicking the buttons, I'm simply offering my opinion. The final decisions all come to the player. Obviously it confers an advantage to the player who's getting help, but its not really any different than private coaching. We're just making a video out of it.

FTP doesn't allow live sweat vids, actually. Stars may follow suit but they haven't yet. Until then, its an effective video-production style!

coldcalling 54s in the small blind.

Don´t like this play to be honest. The big blind might squeeze and playing draws out of position is pretty unpleasing. I would rather just fold right here or if the situation is good I´d try to squeeze.

Q9o headsup vs obv. fish.
Is this a standard c-bet for you? I personally would rather check back especially if the fish is playing a bit aggressive.

Either calling or squeezing is a decent option, and the best choice depends on the particular situation. I'm definitely not expecting to get squeezed very often in a FR game unless the BB is particularly aggro, so thats not a very big concern of mine usually. Perhaps a larger concern is that our squeeze will be fairly obviously coming from a good squeeze spot if we're up against solid regulars, so they're less likely to respect it.

On the other hand, if the PFR and caller fold to 3bets a lot, and the BB is very aggro, then a squeeze is probably better.

Could go either way. I tend towards betting until I have a good reason not to.

Thanks for the quick answers, I really enjoyed watching the video!

Great work DJ Sensei!

Still struggling @ nl100 fr on stars but i guess this helps a ton Wink

Especially I am calling a lot more PPs on setvalue than you do and I guess I have to think again about which flatcalling spots are +ev and which are not.

Used to be you could pretty much always call PP's profitably, but nowadays it can be tougher to get the proper implied odds (at least against better, more aggressive players). Look for spots where the immediate price is low, stacks are deep, and their range is particularly strong so that you're more likely to get paid off.
