Rapid Evolution has become DJ Sensei!
Indeed that's some rapid evolution ![]()
But yes, wrong video uploaded.
This has been reported, we are looking into the issue.
Should be fixed now
thanks for all the videos guys I appreciate it. one thing about this kind of format, you should have a discussion leader directing the discussion stricly, that is one guy leads the group and others dont speak unless asked something. this will avoid all the talking over each other which makes the video hard to follow. still a great video thou, thanx.

When you open J9 and see a 887 flop with the button and bb, is this dryish board where a cbet may not work often a good spot to check raise semi bluff against two villans. If it was only the bb who called does that become a viable line?
Im thinking of that hand in ringmaster where you whiff A4 on a K22 board or someting and instead of cbetting check it back and instead raise the turn?
for DJ or anyone, thx.

I feel like DJ was the only one who was big on the call here. If the original open came from the cut off are you more likely to squeeze?
Awesome! DJ Sensei + Full Ring! ![]()

Table 5, how do you feel about c/c flop and leading non club turn with our second pair?

I think that such a fancy play would work better on a more polarized/dry board (like the K22). On 877 twotone, we'll run into too many draws (and actually more strong hands as well) so I think we'll get unwanted action too often. I'd probably just c/f here most of the time, and if it checks through we've got a number of good turn cards, both for improvement and for bluffing.

Yes, CO opener would make me more likely to squeeze. However, his fold to 3bet % is probably the most important factor. If its low, I'll rarely squeeze here; if its high, I'll squeeze a lot (until he adjusts!).
Also, I'd squeeze more if the openraise size was larger, because my calling price would be worse and there would be more money out there to try and steal.

As I said in the vid, I'm not a huge fan of taking a passive flop line in a spot like this because we don't have a great idea of how to play later streets. Your suggested line is better because our turn bet should get him to reveal his hand, but I don't know if I prefer it to just betting flop to take it down. I suppose if we know that he loves to stab at weakness but is mostly straightforward when he meets resistance, then your line is best. If he is mostly just passive then I like betting flop.
DJ: I love your stuff.
This was a live video?
I have one problem.
Don't you think its problematic you sweating and commenting whilst the hand is being played?
Not questioning your integrity but I don't think its fair.
Keep up the good work anyway.
