Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

UTG+1 ($400)
MP1 ($361.50)
MP2 ($1097.40)
MP3 ($820.50)
CO ($80)
Button ($400)
SB ($402)
Hero (BB) ($514.30)
UTG ($347.60)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8Spade, 8Club
2 folds, MP1 calls $4, 3 folds, Button raises to $16, 1 fold, Hero calls $12, MP1 calls $12

Flop: ($50) 5Club, QClub, 8Heart (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $24, Button raises to $72, Hero raises to $498.30 (All-In), 2 folds

Total pot: $218 | Rake: $3

BU (Dadpoker9) is a real big nit: 10/8/AF 5.9/WtS 19 over 10k Hands

Every line now looks really strong and I don't know whats the best way
to get the most value.

Dont want to overcall his 3bet and give MP odds to call for a FD maybe
and with a shove my hand is face up and looks like 88/55 espacialy against a nit like this.

Maybe a donkbet at the flop is better in this spot ?

I think you played this fine. If the BTN is a nit and he 3bets the flop, you have to expect him to get it in.

Another line is to check/call the flop and then check/raise the turn, but I only do this sometimes HU and it's really an obvious line that you hit your set.

Yeah dadpoker is a big nit. I would worry somewhat that he made QQQ but I'm getting it in. I like the shove though. I think it can look like a big combo draw.

I think you played it fine. Either line looks strong, so i would mix it up. Dadpoker isnt getting it in without a set here imo, so i think your play is fine.
