I decide to mid-raise the turn as (a) I'm not sure if I'm drawing dead so I'm thinking raise/fold (b) if he has a King he's liable to just flat here and I want to ship in some $.
His shove screams JJ / 77 / KJ but his aggression factor is such that I'm slightly suspicious. He may already have a boat or improve to a boat on the river. I can't improve.
As a side point maybe I should have just flatted the turn.
To me it's a fold, but I'd like to hear from anyone else who thinks otherwise.
This is a huge spew, make a normal raise and get it in.
Spew if you are intending to raise/fold that is, if you have some reason to believe the minraise might induce something and you are snap calling its fine.
Yeah I thought my turn play was goofy. I guess flatting and evaluating river better. I don't think I can fold the turn here.
yea I'd say raise normal and get it in. the minraise nearly prices him in to suck out if he just has trips, and if he'll jam a hand like KxQc then you could make a huge mistake.

Oh so you jam on a paired board like this? He EP raised pf...
AK is his most likely holding

Vs a nittier player with a read I might convince myself I were beat, but this guys got a 7 aggression factor and I just dont know if I could find a fold here, if he's got me beat I am just chalking this up as a cooler and moving on.

Point taken, but when I decide to take this attitude during a session I just seem to get bombed by full houses and sets.
He might be aggressive, but he's nitty. Would that not indicate that he may only get aggressive with his big hands which are usually ahead and not slowplay much? Or does it mean he bluffs a lot?
