The way the opponent played this hand I can only assume he is on a draw of some sort or has a weaker pair. If he has an Ace, he's hardly protecting it. I think it's safe to get it in with my kings - any further thoughts?

I think I dont bluff raise the flop unless I have a 100% read that he takes this line exclusively with a flush draw, Id just call flop and reeval turn. As played I probably flat turn and see what he does on the river.

Yeah I think your line is the regular line I take against a solid player. With such a fishy, I was fairly sure from his weak flop bet he was drawing or had air. I felt I had the best hand here. When he calls the flop bet, I just feel he has a draw....

I think a weak ace is also a pretty big part of his range.

Sure, Ax is a part of most fishy ranges, but I expect him to bet more on the flop mostly.

thing here is, fish seldom fold or call fd to a raise oop like this. you got your answer when he flatcalls flop 3bet like that. fishy players c/c mostly here. you have to let it go now and hope for ur K on turn 
if u had ak this would be better obv but u got kk, you cant throw ppl out of draws with hands that are crushed, imo doing this with total air would be better, coz you might talk yourself into stacking off with hands are basically dead on the flop T_T
