PAHUD Color Ranges (DJ Sensi and Goldseraph)
Can someone help provided accurate ranges for FR NLHE? I feel that the PT2 ranges were sufficient but need a bit of tweaking to keep up with today's games. Would love to see the ranges of DJ Sensi and Goldseraph....
+1
yeah i had a really good feel for a lot of stats playing 6max but i am not sure how they all transfer to full ring. maybe a FR HEM stat based vid??
Truth be told I don't play FRHE regularly enough that I really have well-defined stat ranges. If I do play FR (and use a HUD) I can get by pretty well without a custom color-code arrangement.
Not sure how a color range can be 'accurate' perse, I just estimated to the best of my ability where I thought the divides were in the types of players as I see it. I have the color ranges configured for my next video which should be out soon, perhaps you can estimate the ranges from that but I'm too lazy to copy all the stat ranges down right now ![]()
I used the ranges dj sensei showed in his tool time vid and adjusted the vpip and pfr down a bit.
do you mean to tell me that the hud that i set up from dj sensei's video is not accurate because it was for 6 max and i only play full ring ???
i set mine up exactly like the one he had in the video. if its not accurate how can i make it accurate or should i just scrap the color coding ??

Me too Hollywood,
I am sure DJ said in the vid it will do for both but it seems that may not be the case now :-(
Use common sense and adjust it accordingly. Everyone will have a bit different color ranges according to what they believe are nits/lags/donks etc
I think if its a big deal whether a preset color arrangement is completely accurate to the games you expect to play, you're kinda overusing the whole concept of a HUD. You should develop your game to be fundamentally solid against all opponents, and refer to the HUD only for close decisions where it could go either way.
In fact I'd almost recommend that you use them all the same color at first (probably white), and decide for yourself how you'd like to colorize the different ranges depending on how you felt you personally would use those stats in the heat of battle.

thanks alot for the reply. i am rather new to using poker software. i am still trying to figure out how to interpret the different catagories and numbers. if anyone has any information on how a newbie can learn to use the hud more effectively, i would greatly appreciate it.
