Great commentary, This will help pick up my aggression tons in a lot of tricky spots I would normally play to passive and try to check through inevitably giving the pot away in later streets.

On the QJ hand you elect to 3bet saying you messed up the hand but you would prefer a call.

What we be doing on the turn if it came the 3h, you check and he bet? (I am assuming we would be checking-shoving)
Also what would your play be if the turn came a brick (lets say it paired the board), you checked and he checked back and the river came the 3h?
Or maybe Im just completely wrong and you would donk bet a blank with QJ.


A few hands later you play the Q6o hand. Flop comes Q96,K turn, and you elect to bet turn.
You say before hand that you believe he will interpret barreling for real strength, and that he would fold a queen here to a triple barrel, therefore if we cant get a triple barrel for value surely this spot then becomes a good spot to check behind, or are we giving up too many free cards which may ruin our hand (any K,any 9,any ten, any jack)? The reason I ask this is because we are in a really really sick spot if he check raises the turn as truely we only beat bluffs, or hands that have turned their hand into a bluff (yet still ahve a lot of equity like T9), and because he hasnt been getting too out of line I really wouldnt want to call it off but also would not want to fold it.

on a turn 3h i check/raise all-in to let him bluff. on a brick i also check and if he checks back and the river comes a heart i probably check/fold. donking the turn would be bad because it gives him no chance to get the $$$ in bad (although it does protect my hand obviously)

hi, in the AKss hand, where you bet 4120 leaving you with 2000 on the river with A high, everything you did I agree with, however the river overbet of 4120 could have been done away with with a 2800 bet, that ill leave you with a playlable 3.5k stack if called instead of a crippling 2k because if he is calling a river 2800, he is def calling 4120 almost 100% of the time, right? what u think?.

i don't think that's right at all and think his calling frequency with a non-top-pair bluff-catcher is definitely higher for a <PSB than it is for an overbet

He calls jacks but folds a 5? im probably missing something but i dont see how jacks play any different against your river betting range there
