So my wife is learning to play SNG's and this hand took place while I was cleaning the apartment (stop laughing). She stopped and asked my advice and I was honestly a little stumped by this hand.
I like a bit larger raise preflop, but the flop is a rather sticky situation. Do you make a pot sized bet and risk blowing out top pair or checkraise the flop to blow out draws? If you manage to get to the turn action, are you happy to commit yourself to the pot or is it c/f time?

I probably shove here on Turn. You're right, I do like a bigger raise PF, but what's done is done. KJ, QJ, J10 is definitely in their range and most likely calling a shove. Not to mention, they might call down a little bit ligher with a shove of more than the pot as well. 10-9 is in their range, but unlikely. If they do wake-up with 10-9, you got coolered.

Shove on the turn, you have just about a pot size bet left and and overpair which is almost always worth getting it in in these.
Plus, although he could be a good player who ran very hot... I am guessing by the way his has played this hand and that he has a stack as big as this at this stage is a high vpip fish who will be happy to give you his chips as fast as he got them.

FPS? At $3 buyin I always bet for value here. Most players at this level are never folding top pair and most will go to the turn with middle or bottom pair, any draw or even two overcards.
Poker aside, sounds like your wife is getting the best of it
