Thanks AMT,
Enjoyed your second video of this series a lot.
Looking forward for more of your good lessons.

AMT walks through the basic parts of the middle game of SNG play. Considerations of adjustment, stack size implications, what to do when there are no "absolutes", when to start thinking about shoving, and more about middle game insights.
Join Alex Triner (AMT), our expert SNG/STT coach as he takes you though the soup to nuts of online SNG/STT play. Starting with early level play, bubble play and moving on to Independent Chip Modeling (ICM) calculations -- all you need to know to get started crushing SNG/STTs online.

Thanks, forker!
I had minor technical difficulty with this one, so I apologize if it wasn't quite up to speed with the series premiere, but it does a good job at taking an initial peek into the middle game
Hope everyone enjoys.
I really like the way you do your videos by starting with theory and then explaining handpicked examples thoroughly. It's a much better way to learn than just watching a session..
Keep up the good work![]()
Another supreme video! Keep up the good work!
Hey AMT, will you make a video or two on HUSNG or the whole series is for STT ?

If people want, I can look into making HU sng vids after the series, but the series will focus on full table SNG's primarily (with a possibility of 6 man coverage, but perhaps not in this series either). To be completely honest with you, though, I do not feel that I'm the most qualified for HU sng's over other forms of tournament poker. I have a bit less experience with heads up so I feel as though my time is best served teaching on other forms of the game, but as I get more comfortable teaching heads up, I'd like to take your suggestions and integrate this into my videos. I'll keep people updated on this front as best as I can. Sorry if that's a cop out answer ![]()
Great video AMT. I really appreciated the 12BB rule section.
That is a stack size where I feel I have been making mistakes, but now I will just be keeping my decisions more simple (and hope I run good when all in).
In regards to heads up SnGs. I have found that the heads up content for cash games on dc translates very well for low blind play in SnGs. If you were going to cover heads up, perhaps it would be just be better presented as a tutorial on SAGE (Which is great for when normal SnGs get to HU anyway) for when the blinds are high if you don't feel like your time would be well spent doing more in depth videos on heads up.
DC is on top for training videos ![]()
Good vid, I'm really looking forward to some ICM and bubble play. Thank you for making this series.

+1
This is the first video series I have watched since I joined, DeucesCracked. It is already worth it.
Another great job, cant wait until tomorrow for #3!
Hey AMT, hope you still read this, I have a question regarding min 52:00, the KK hand.
You said Hero missplayed the hand and I agree, but I would like to hear your opinion on a different line here. What about checking behind the turn here and calling every riverbet? I suppose Villain is not folding any Ax hand on the Turn if we bet, but will fold most other hands (not sure about the FD). On the river he will bluffbet many hands like you said, obviously still valuebet Ax but many weaker holdings too.

I think he's probably willing to call those on the turn, and given his entire range we don't necessarily want him folding those whiffed draws on the river when he won't fold them in making a mistake by calling them off on the turn but wouldn't ever call with a bare whiffed draw on the river if that makes sense. That combined with my arguments in the video of the draws still in his range and worse hands to collect value from with only pot behind given the action and I'd say I still think shoving the turn is the best play, but as I said in the video I'd still probably look him up on the river as it stands.
