Im quite new to poker and i've been playing some free rolls with like 1000 dollar prize pools, and like 3000-4000 register and i start off well accumulating around 20,000-30,000 chips which places me around 20-40th in the first hour of the MTT, and as time progresses and more people drop out i lose chips slowly if anyone does a big bet i always have little confidence in my hands, how can i counter act this and play better at the end stages of these big free rolls.

PS you start the tournament with 3000 chips and blind levels increasing every 10 minutes.

Welcome to DC gourav, I think this question is a bit too difficult to answer well without taking up a few pages. If you can it's best to post a few more specific questions with perhaps a hand-history, give the stage and number of players and any other reads or stats you have.

As far as the original question goes I would say that free rolls are very likely to be wild at the start and you should aim to try to chip up early with speculative hands.
After a while people will value the time taken and start to play tighter/more carefully as the end approaches. One thing to try to do is to try to avoid your stack dropping below some points. When you have 20 to 30 bbs you have a good re-stealing stack so try to keep above this and pick off a weak players raise even without a hand by re-raising or shoving. When your stack gets below 20 it becomes too expensive to easily c-bet so you may have to tighten up and wait for a hand worth playing for stacks with. As you drop further 15 to 10 just push often when in a good position and try to avoid going below 10bbs at all costs, be willing to push lighter and lighter as you drop below 10bbs.
Try to use the power of your stack as much as the strength of your hand. If you get it in preflop you are usually better than 30% even with rubbish hands, and a 30% to double up is not that bad.

Just remember that the weakest players are usually at the beginning of tournaments, so early chip accumulation while nice, is not going to be consistent as you get deeper and run up against more skilled players.
