So every saturday of late i've been playing a deep stack tunamelt $180 buy in 12k starting chips 30 min levels. Usually get around 100 to 120ish. In the last few weeks I have taken 11th twice a 12th and a 14th. Ten get paid. Shit is getting ridiculous and I'm really starting to question how bad i really play. Here is a key hand in that I have been thinking about for the last 3 days.

The main villian in the hand i've never seen before but he has the works going on (hoodie, headphones, sunglasses, hpt hat) hes a pretty good player and I get the feeling he keeps trying to run me over after I folded aq to his aj when he raised my flip c bet in a dry sidepot. Every since then he has three bet me and 4 bet cold shoved prefolp with ak. And has also attempted to steal the blinds then called a flip shove with 25o on an A 2 3 flop. He has definitely done some weird laggy stuff at this point.

Any way we are down to 14 players(10 get paid) the blinds are 3000/6000 I'm the chip leader at the table with around t80k the villain in question has about t65k I raise to 12,5k in the cu with aDiamond8Diamond folds to the villain in the bb who calls.

the flip is

jHeart 10Club 8Spade

he checks, i fire out about 14k he calls.

Turn:
8 Heart

he checks i bet 20k he calls.

River 10Diamond

He insta shoves

So what i'm wondering here. Is what kind of range are you putting our villain on the flop? the turn?
Should i click it back on the flop?
Do I shove the turn instead of the 20K?
What kind of range do you think he has on the river?

Also if anyone could recommend me any videos focused on end game that would be phenomenal

It really sucks bubbling 5 times in a row, but think of it this way, that's 5 times you did a lot of stuff right, stay cool, analyze spots you could have played better and please post here this forum needs more activity!!!!

If I read this right he only has like 18k left on the river, the 10 is obviously not the best card for you but I don't think you can fold here, too often he's going to have Jx type hands and other made pairs. I would have put him all in on that turn, with your pre-flop raise he'd have a hard time putting you on an 8. It's a bit tougher because you only min raised pre-flop so I can't necessarily discount the slim chance of Q9s/97s from his hand but still if he flopped a straight, whatever.

You have an aggressive player in the BB, who is obviously pretty call happy and not scared of you, I would bet a bit bigger pre-flop, on that board checking back in position (you only have a pair of 88's anyway on a fairly wet board. And focus on keeping the pot small to protect your lead with a marginal holding.

As played, on the turn I think I would just shove, based on your past HH he's going to call off with any 10 or J a lot of the time, and if not you win 26k and extend your lead. In the rare chance he actually has Q9/97s, you still have a chance to get there anyway.

He seems aggressive enough that if he puts you on an overpair, he could bluff and try to rep a full house on the river regardless of his holding.

I get in this same situation often where I'm the big stack, and lo and behold I commit a ton of chips in a spot where I really don't know where I'm at.

are there antes? If your CL what is the stacks of everyone else at this table? are they around villains stack? how many people at your table? 7? this is pretty important bc it could have actually been an open push here depending on how you answer

Id shove turn given gay river is going to change things like it did. You could be folding best hand or he would fold a jack a ten or a straight draw.... especially with the history you mention.

I think I would be willing to check back the flop as it's so coordinated we don't get many folds, can't stand a re-raise and may be behind. I don't think betting out is terrible though.

As played the turn 8 means we are probably ahead and now I would start betting to get value. Most V. hands will be drawing or mid strength I would shove if you think it will get called, any bet is committing for you so get in as much as you think gets called.

no antes. everybody is around 25-40k 7 people at the table. I think the play here is to shove prefolp or fold 100% i have the bubble working in my favor and i'm just letting people make hands against mine. Terrible play and a terrible result. I'm actually still tilted about this and its almost been a week .
