i recently played a $1r hyper with a rebuy period of 90 minutes. towards the end of the rebuy period, a double rebuy would give me a stack of just 2 or 3 bbs. it is my understanding that rebuying is always the correct play, but given the extreme circumstance of this game type, and the potential to lose a ton of money given the stakes, i thought i would seek the thoughts of DC.

Pretty standard for those usually the addon is pretty sizable thou the key is to gather enough chips early so hopefully you don't get crippled Or busted at end of rebuy but it happens

20+ seems slightly high, but no doubt could happen.

would be interesting to hear what people have to say about whether a double or single rebuy is the way to go late in the rebuy stages, say 20mins left or later. I saw a reg who's game I respected alot only single rebuy.. with ante your essentially all-in regardless, would folks just be single re-buying and getting it in with 95% of their range?

the add on is massive, but relative to the blinds it only gives you around 10bb....

Hopefully an interesting disscussion might happen as these seem highly crushable with the right adjustments
