I am having a big problem with small rag aces either UTG or early pos deep in a tournament, and I have either 12-19 BB's should I ship with players behind or a fold more profitable?

Depends on a few things but the size of x in Axo is prettty important when low stacked. With 12 to 19 bbs early, even with antes, I am very picky with A rags and would fold often. Also with the higher stack size it is possible to min raise and make the choice of calling - this can be fine when you have a tight image and can judge the quality any later shoves.

ya I been folding them if I am short stacked the Aces 2-6 are folds to me early but I didnt know if that was a profitable play even when I been playing rather ABC tight poker.

never ship more than 7bb with a rag Ace from ep even with antes. I would mostly suggest just folding them.

Wait, are you asking whether it's a good idea to open shove A2o 19bb deep in EP?

Think about what you're gonna get called by when you get called, a lot of better Ax hands where you are dominated kicker-wise. Your hand is probably more live vs their calling range shoving something like a suited connector.

i mean that sort of doesn't matter it is mostly a math problem about the frequency of how often we take the blinds down pre and how much a % of that is our stack.
