I don't have much experience with tournaments either, so take this advice with a grain of salt.
I would shove here. I don't expect to many folds, especially in a freeroll, but with your stack size, and the amount in the pot already I think it's a +ev shove. If we were 1 or 2 spots from cashing I might consider playing a little tighter and let someone else possibly bust out.

Yeah I could see a shove here being the correct play. I honestly have no idea when it comes to playing with 10-15bb....

unless you knew the first guy limp folded a bunch I'd fold 22, it just doesn't get stack in well here.
totally agree 22 is just getting whacked equity wise even if villain somehow limp calls 34off lol we are just relying totally on FE with no blockers in a freeroll where people will call way too lose bc why not
Whats the worst hand you shove?
the worst hands would be big suited broadways, AX suiteds, A7 off, PP's above 5's or so. I expect villain to limp call a lot UTG ish here in a freeroll so i wouldnt be counting on FE that much. blockers are a big deal not only for villains limp calling range but for the hands people could have behind you, keep that in mind

I should note that it's a VIP freeroll, so most players are pretty decent [obviously this guy isn't good since he limped UTG, but shouldn't be a huge drooler I wouldn't think]

At what point, meaning stack size, should we shove 22 in this spot. We have to be getting pretty close with 13bbs. Do we shove if we have 10bbs or less here?
With 22 with this stack size/antes here it is really borderline to me - ok there is the chance of being called by better pairs but often it is going to be just overcards - we are dropping fold equity fast and this may be the best shot for a while. I just lean toward a fold mostly but I think it might be time to even take a bit of an immediate -ve EV line as this may be ok in order to be able to shove more often on the next orbit or two (and so hopefully get repaid for the -ve part in the long run). It is a very close spot and any small thing might nudge me into taking the shot.
With 10bbs I would be shoving most of the time.

we would need a read that he can limp fold tbh. i would much rather open push 67off then shove 22 here. just a matter of having a shit ton more FE

Not sure what you mean. 76o and 22 have the same fold equity.

I def. prefer the 22 to shove in situations like this. If the limper was limping tight but with all pairs better than 22
(33+,A7s+,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KTo+,QJo) approx. 17% of hands
22 has 40% equity, 76o has 33% when called. If the limper is wide say 40% of hands then 22 do even better.
