i have started playing headsup hyper sngs on stars. how big a sample would you need to be reliable?
i only 1 table - played 607 $3.50 with 6.7% roi and 537 $7s with 8.2% roi. i am guessin slightly over 1k games is a little small. my vpip is 53 and pfr is 44.
are there any members who play alot of these and have any comments- general strategy ??
any videos that cover these on deucescracked ??
would love to take a shot at learning these and moving up stakes a bit further !! is there a good hourly possible in these or is there too much variance in these - bad runs suck !!

With a true 8% roi HU (not possible to really know this, and it does change) with the PStars rake here is a list of the 90% confidence levels for the number of games.
500, 90%CI = 1.0% to 15.4%
1000, 90%CI = 3.1% to 13.2%
2000, 90%CI = 4.6% to 11.8%
5000, 90%CI = 5.9% to 10.5%
10000, 90%CI = 6.6% to 9.8%
Note this this is for a 90% confidence so 90% of the time your results are within this range - 10% of the time it is even wider.
I used a mathematical package to calc these, it does use the exact rake value for PStars hyper HU, and 8.2% roi, but the width of the ranges won't be that much different for small differences in roi or rake.

Not sure if there is any hyperHU videos just yet, I know saibot had some HUsng vids that looked pretty interesting and obviously there will be some end-game play in those.
You should get a lot of use out of a PokerStove type program + calculator for studying shoves/calls
