Try to give as much info. about the spot as possible - reads, MTT size, players left and all the stacks sizes.

I think you are right. I read Collin Moshimans think I am spelling this right book about sit and gos. If you cant steal the blinds then why bother is one thing I got from it. If I would have shoved I would have turned a set. So I was thinking did I make a fundamental mistake here? 33 seemed to weak to shove UTG but I wasn't sure.

would have flopped a set or not. it dosent matter. what matters is the correct solution..
winning or loosing dosent matter! i think you posted this hand , only because you saw that you would have won the pot with a set?
to the hand it self i think this is a shove, because with 5bbs afterthe blinds we have no FE

Probably shove but it depends and on the other players stack sizes.

Look at it this way:

Fold? No, because you have 8BB and a pocket pair. You'll be in the big blind next hand.
Limp? No, because your pair probably only stands a chance HU and someone behind might raise anyway.
Min raise? No because you're facing the table and will probably get a few callers.
Shove? I guess this must be the best play

prize pool structure = important

What were the stack-sizes of everyone else? Think that's pretty important.
