would u agree that maybe a fold would have been the best option with the kq off ?shouldn't you really expect regs like panda and gnetaren(awesome) to play back at you given the stacks and being so close to the bubble?i understand that you have been playing rather tight but the pressure they can apply by like putting in a min 3-bet in can really be profitable for them .big fan of ur vids btw Wink

Really like you vids.

I often see people talk about how a good player uses their big stack really well. I find its a fine line between doing that and starting to spew and would like to get better at it. If you know some good adjustments to make it would be appreciated

Problem with this table layout is that your cards block your stack size. When you're contemplating a shove, it's important to see how many blinds you have.

Do you, or anyone else in this spot, think that this play is the best line to take?
So, better than:
- Folding pre
- Raise en fold to reraise
- All in

And why do you think this, or anything else is the best play?

You said 'I will min-raise and then call his shove'. Let's say he shoves 22+, QJs, KJs+, KQ, A5s+, A7o+. Against this range you have barely a 43,1% equity.

The first thought about this was that I would min-raise and fold to a reraise. Or do you consider this as an error because already 12,5% of my stack is envolved?

Thanks in advance!

I think this is a really good spot to open with two blockers and my stack size. It looks really, really strong. But yeah I really like bandit's 3b as well. And I think he could have folded here.

In this exact hand, he hadn't 3b me a lot (I was one of the biggest stacks until losing a big cooler) so maybe I should have put him on the level where he thinks he could get more credit and I should have jammed or flatted.

But it's really hard to make a big ICM mistake near a rebuy tournament bubble that skews heavy to the mincash like the 55R. So very well played by banditpanda (and he is one of the best for sure).

beepoker, a lot of the videos in this series have me with a big stack just taking what the table will give me. If there are players who are very weak and letting you pilfer their blinds, target them from every position.

bigrounder, the top left shows my stack in chips. I've gotten used to just looking at it. I hate the images on the Stars client (though I miss displayed image tells).

I'm assuming you are talking about the 33 hand. Shoving is horrible and so is folding. If you look at the stats, the 26bb stack is kind of unknown, the 38bb stack is good/aggro (but we can just 4b/shove over his 3b), and the BB is nitty.

So here we would minraise and fold versus the 27 and 26bb stacks, call the 16bb reshove (assume he's reshoving a wide range based on dynamics), and 4b shove over the aggro 39bb stack.

If I had to call off with 33 every single time, I would just fold. But don't forget the original min raise has a decent chance of picking up the 2300 chip pot to begin with.

I actually think that for the reasons you mention this being a bad spot to 3b light that it's a good spot to do so...haha #levelwars

I think I play a lot more dynamically now and had some very static strategies back in the day. I also have a lot more specific information through my HUD. I'm here in Macau and bored, so just for fun I'll just rewatch this and list every spot I'd play differently today.
