For the US players what sit are you chosing? I am on cake right now does not seem to have that much traffic. But a month ago I was on it on the weekend and the low limits seem to have a lot of action? Is Merge network any better? I have an account on Carbon and got a reload bonus offer from both Carbon and Cake, what network should I move to for sit n gos?

I'm checking out Carbon right now. Grinding their freeroll steps and binking $1 at a time. Not sure about depositing too much right now. I guess what I need most is just to play, and to continue learning. Money is coming in from my IRL job now until I get to where I'm comfortable playing live SNG or 1/3 FR NL.
I propose a Carbon roll building challenge btw to DC; using their 3 Steps.

Thanks Base. Gl to you too in even softer SNG fields!
Hey, now that you have left it has got a lot harder
The games don't actually seem any easier to me - just the volume is down. It might be that I am still often playing when there used to be a large field of USA players and maybe all that's left are the euro-shark night owls that liked the high volume traffic - I'll have to go searching for softer feeding grounds.
Oh and if there are any players that know good sites for the USA players - please post. I've gone a bit off-topic - sry.

I played some on each site last night. The play is definitely softer then it was on stars or fulltilt. Merge seems to be where most players are going. One of my sit n gos said all the players were from the US. Also Cake has 10 man sit n gos where they pay out the top 4. Any body have an opinion on that?

I'm averaging about 4 Step 2 tickets per 10 Play Chip Coupons on Carbon.
So far I have 3 Step 3's and 17 Step 2's.
They limit you to 10 Step 1 Coupons per day so this could be a grind.
Step 3 pays $1 for first and repeat 2's for 2nd and 3rd. Haven't played a 3 yet.
Worth it? Probably not. Addicted? Probably.

I've noticed this too...it is strange to me...because I played on carbon for a VERY brief period of time last July and the tables were always mixed....I've only played about 100 or so sngs/mtts this month on carbon and lock...but it is extremely RARE to actually see someone from a different country at my table...almost like all USA players are on dedicated servers and every once in a while a player from a country other than the US lands at my table from maybe overflow or something....speculation...but it is at least noteworthy.

is it possible to make any money playing FR/6max SNGs on carbon or other US sites? the tables are really tight. I think it's possible to make a small profit or rakeback. I was told by a pro/coach that they are dead. I was playing up to 30s on AP which was great, but alas no more...
it is really frustrating putting in all that play/study and not even getting my nice profit from AP
