hi bones, i'd like to know the reason of the shove with QTo, because on S&GW it seems pretty close, requiring really tight calling ranges to gain a little EQ profit. are you willing to use the bubble aversion to confrontation, as strategical factor, over ICM considerations?
in this spot i would have folded: is this a leak?

same question as above.

thx

They're both on the thin side, but I expect them to be calling very tight. Folding isn't a leak, but I tend to err on the side of aggression, especially with a chip lead on the bubble.

Do you guys like having members as guests in the vids? I had planned on having a few more guests in upcoming vids, but if you guys would rather solo vids I can work with that as well.

I enjoyed frank being in the video and I think that it is a great idea to have members as guests. Having an average member as a guest is a great way to get information because we will be closer in thought than a coach. The coaches here are great and do well on explaining plays and giving many examples, but sometimes when you reach a higher level of knowledge you forget the silly thoughts or questions you once had.

I thought bones did a great job with this video and I look forward to watching the rest of this series. There was a ton of information in here to help me with my SNG play. Among the top were all the thoughts on shoving and the HUD player filtering settings.

I also thought Frank did a great job at asking questions. His comment about how valuable he thought the stat Won $ At Showdown is was priceless information for me and I'm adding it to my HUD immediately.

Since this is my first post here I would just like to say I think EVERYONE at DC is doing a great job and I'm excited to get to know the community.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I enjoyed doing that video & wish I could have played & have had Bones critique my play, but unfortunately I was playing at Bodog at the time & couldn't get any tables loaded. Having said that I really enjoyed participating in the video. Glad my comments were appreciated. I've had several members tell me that they liked the questions I asked. I had so much stuff I wanted to ask & had a blast.

I don't understand why SB should push atc here with 3rd and 4th place so small. Seems to contradict advice from vandweller's flying blinds video I just watched, according to his advice it would be a clear fold.

I haven't watched that vid, but sb should be shoving against me to force me to fold pretty much everything (precisely because 3rd and 4th are so short). It would be much different if stacks were reversed, but I can't imagine past vandweller advocating folding as sb there.

OK thanks I will go over the videos and see where I'm not understanding and also it is going by his SB chart which he does say doesn't cover every situation.
