There is still a couple hundred players before the money at this point.
Villain is new to table so no reads at this point.
Absent of any read information, is check shoving this flop horrible?

If we put villain on a range of something like 99+, AJs+, AQo+, we are a little better then a 60/40 favorite here, and I think we get him to fold a lot of his range here as played.

However tourney life is risked.

Obviously we want to play the hand preflop, and I think calling out of position is the safer route, after the flop, are the stacks too deep at this point to risk tourney life?

Are you ever check folding this board?

I'd probably 4-bet to ~10k and get it in pf. If both of them shoved i'd hate life but would probably have to call anyway because if crazy pot odds.

As played c/shoving the flop is best.

Cramming pre is probably fine (reads/info. may negate this), but it might be a fold before it's a flat. Being OOP with these awkward stacks in a sizily 3 bet pot is very unappealing to me here (and in general). Reads would obviously help but not real sure if it's good otherwise. As played, check/jamming seems fine.
