It would help if you provided some information about the opponent. How has he been playing before this hand?

I agree with you that it's one of those two things, but it's really hard to say without knowing a bit more about the opponent. A lot of people in my limited experience are bad and incapable of bluffing in this spot, and basically just lead rivers like this when they have it. I don't know if this is such a guy, though. If we don't know either, then I suppose it should be a call given our odds, but since I am conditioned by my experiences I may be kind of nitty in thinking that it's probably a fold, readless.

Another possibility is that this is Axcc. I'm not sure if that sort of hand is in his range with this sort of line, though.

I don't think people ever donk big on that flop with 88 or 2x and im not sure how many 2x he has in his range (A2s?). 8x, cc are in a lot of peoples donk range here. Im doubtful he would turn his 8x into a bluff on the river but 8xhh would probably play it like this and Axcc aswell. It mostly comes down to whether he would jam this river with missed clubs and im a bit doubful that a lot of people will because you've shown immense strength throughout the hand and they think you'll just snap it off cause you both have so few chips left. Though sometimes people do a desperate bluff when they realise that they can't win the hand any other way and they've invested a lot of chips. Any reads on the guy would help a long way.

sry havent had alot of reads was in the third blind level i think and he had connection probs and was rly slow! I give him Axcc but im not shure if hed would just shove it over my flop rr.
