I accidentally entered a Step 5 on UB today and won. I have plans to eventually keep playing it, not sure how I'll do. I've played UB Steps in the past, but always starting from Step 1; $.10, once getting to Step 8 before falling all the way back down. I'll be playing them again this year on AP/UB.

Any plans to do more Steps vids, or have a Steps challenge; either Poker Stars or other sites? I'm not sure how much more we can learn from them, they play basically the same as any other SNG, but with the different payout structures. Would be cool to maybe have a series with a few grinders and a coach going through some sites Steps. Obviously some baller grinders, idk how to make the Steps that profitable on their own.

Also, without having looked up the post, there was a spreadsheet available that figured out how much it would cost to win a WSOP package based on hero's ROI%/ITM%. Has anything reliable been produced? Going to see what 2+2 has.

This is a great thread, with a great Excel sheet I'm just now messing around with.

Step system is kind of the problem. You require a huge bankroll to take part in these profitably. At Stars you can get out at 215$ tickets, but still, the bankroll you got to have to play 215$ tournaments with Steps is still quite big.

When I had excess W$, I played them for a while and found them very soft in general, but then again, I have had few Step 4 tickets sitting on my account with next to no (profitable) way of using those. Can't even get to a low variance satellite with those any more, because all they give out now are nonrefundable tickets.
